13 reasons why redesign

As one of my first design pieces, I was tasked to redesign a book cover of my choosing. I designed this cassette-inspired cover for this book, tying back to a key part of the story: the recently deceased main character leaves notes for her friends in the form of tapes to listen to. When designing this, I turned what was once a flat, portrait-style design into an object that almost looks like a prop from the story. This piece won a spot in Samford University’s Student Juried Exhibition.
